Shipping policy


Shipment processing time

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday), excluding weekends and public holidays. Orders placed after 14:00 (CET) may be processed on the next business day.


Shipping methods & delivery times

Domestic (Portugal mainland): 1–3 business days via standard courier.

European Union: 3–7 business days (depending on destination country and customs clearance).


Shipping costs

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight or volume. The cost for shipping will be shown before payment confirmation.


Free Shipping

Mainland Portugal: Shipping is free for orders of €50 or more. Orders are dispatched from Monday to Thursday, with delivery within 24 to 48 hours.

Spain: Shipping is limited to the can format. Shipping is free for orders of €65 or more. Delivery takes between 2 and 5 business days, depending on the region.

European Union: Shipping is limited to the can format. Shipping is free for orders of €150 or more. Delivery takes between 2 and 5 business days, depending on the region.

Local Pickup: You can choose free pickup at the Aquela Kombucha Taproom in Porto. This option is available at checkout.


Risk and title transfer

Once the order is handed over to the carrier, title and risk of loss pass to the customer. After handover, The Sip Order cannot be held responsible for shipping delays, lost or damaged parcels due to carrier handling or customs delays.


Packaging and temperature sensitivity

Because the beverages sold in The Sip Order are delicate and perishable, all products are carefully packaged to minimize damage during transport. Please follow storage instructions for each product, as some require refrigeration upon delivery.


Order issues, damage or missing delivery

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If any item arrives damaged, leaking, or otherwise compromised, or if you receive the wrong items, contact us at hi@thesiporder.com within 24 hours after delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging. We will investigate the issue and may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion. Claims made after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.


Customs, taxes and import duties (for shipments outside Portugal)

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their country of destination. The Sip Order is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by customs clearance or import restrictions.


Unavailable delivery / delays beyond control

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. The Sip Order is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs procedures, weather conditions, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
